It is well known that when two different cultures merge, something worth comes out. Messer Masson Matiée, was born in a Povençial mid-industrial family, that in 1805 moved in Tuscany, precisely in Colle Val d' Elsa, where developping textile, glass and iron crafts. His family continued the industrial tradition, where as young Masson devoted himself to be an ebanist.
Thanks to his french origin, that assured him great refinement of taste, and the contact whith Tuscan culture, he created a new styled and precious forniture.
Nowadays, we still preserve that initial passion for the arts, that inspired Messer Masson; more over we always try to find a personal style based on the different expression of art, developed in Italy and Europe in the past times. That is the why, the forniture Maison Matiée is made of precious, carefully manufactured wood, that makes our goods different from others.
